Times Lit Fest Delhi 2017
As India celebrates its 71 years, the Times Lit Fest Delhi 2017 brings together the leading thinkers, authors, influencers and news makers voice on the ideas and thoughts that shape the nation. The fest which is being held at the India Habitat Centre is a celebration of books, written works, contributions and ideas of notable writers of our country where the organizers will exhibit panel discussions, talks, book launch and opinions on the challenges of the country.
This year the Times Lit Fest will analyze the different aspects that concern New India. It will see if the country is on a cultural crossway? What thoughts shapes nationalism? Whether the war between India and Pakistan ever end? How social media becomes a center stage for youth rebellion, and many more aspects making buzz in mainstream media will be discussed and debated among speakers, participants and the audience of the Times Lit Fest.
Some of the many participants of this year’s fest features Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Shashi Tharoor, Nayantara Sahgal, Gurmehar Kaur, Amish Tripathi, Arun Shourie, Abhinav Bindra, Nandita Das,Rajdeep Sardesai, Anupama Chopra etc who will observe and not reside on what happened in history but focus on creating factors that can develop progressive change in every aspect concerning the country that welcomes an open-minded society.
