India’s wait for the Miss World Crown finally got over when twenty year old medical student Ms. Manusi Chillar won the title for this year. This is the sixth time India has won this title where Priyanka Chopra was last crowned at 2000. This winner of the Miss World Crown is a medical student who belongs to the state of Haryana. She is a trained Indian classical dancer who also enjoys outdoor sports and adventurous activity like bunjee jumping and scuba diving and is passionate about sketching and painting.
The winning moment for Miss Manushi Chillar was when she was asked about which profession according to her deserves a high salary for which she gave a very humble reply that according to her a role of a mother deserves the highest level of respect and love, since a mother sacrifices a lot for her kids. She also added that she seeks inspiration in her life from her mother. These golden words where enough to beat other five contestants of the Q and A round.
