Shashi Kapoor Death-Country lost Legendary Bollywood Actor

Mumbai: Monday evening brought a sad news to the country as legendary actor Shshi Kapoor had passed away. According to PTI, the news of the demise was reported by his nephew, Randhir Kapoor, that Shashi Kapoor had been suffering with complications of prolonged illness, kidney disease and was confined in a wheel chair for a long time. The funeral for the actor will take place on Tuesday.
Shashi Kapoor was born in 1938 and was the youngest son of Prithvi Raj Kapoor. His successfull works includes Deewar, Jab Jab Phool Khile, Kabhie Kabhie, Roti Kapda aur Makaan, Satyam Shivam Sundaram and many more countless hits.

The actor was married to Jennifer Kendall and had three children, Kunal Kapoor, Karan Kapoor and Sanjana Kapoor. His wife Jennifer died of cancer in 1984 which was an extremely tragic loss for him.

Shashi Kapoor has had achieved great height of success as he had being awarded with various awards and honors like Dada Saheb Phalke Award, Flimfare Award, Padma Bhushan, National Film Awards and Life Time Achievement Award for his works . Also not to forget is that this actor was having a very long term association with theater and has also been a part of some Hollywood projects too.
India has lost one of its shining stars. He will always be missed and remembered by the entire nation.
